5.10pm Game: Elephants Fly nil

Joey Scouts in defined space; Ldr calls out things that fly

or not. it flies, Joeys run around making appropriate

noises. When Ldr calls out something that doesn't fly the

Joeys must remain perfectly still. If Ldr calls out elephant fly

joeys run around the space while the leaders try and

catch them. When all caught start again.

Materials: Paper plate, coloured paper, coloured paper circle for head, goggle eyes, orange cardboard feet & beak, stapler, glue, scissors.

Method: on coloured paper, Joeys trace their hand & cut out. Colour in the paper plate then fold in half. Glue hand cut-out on one end as tail feathers, glue circle on other end as head. Add eyes & beak. Cut out feet, staple on as shown.

5.45m Game: Feather Race

Joeys in teams must get their plate with a feather on it up the hall & back then hand on to next Joey. First team finished & standing still wins

5.50pm Song: Mother Duck

5 Little ducks went out one day, over the hills & far away Mother duck said quack quack quack quack But only 4 little ducks came back,

Repeat through to 0 & mother out all came back

Spare Game:Baby duck

Using yellow balloon, joeys have to see how fast they can pass the 'baby duck' round the circle. Duck flies when leader says (flies by letting go of the balloon!)
