Region Camp

What is Region Camp

Region Camp is the only opportunity for all the Scouts of the Region to camp together as one large group. The camp is run every year over the Queens Birthday long weekend in June, with troops moving in on Friday night or Saturday morning and setting up camp on their allocated sites.

Activities start after lunch on Saturday and continue until lunch time on Monday, when troops break camp and head home.

Times

From 5.00pm Friday 8th June 2012 to
2.00pm Monday 11th June 2012

Registration from 9.00am Saturday morning.

Camp Awards from 12.30pm Monday.

Please complete attached application form and return to Region Office together Group Cheque for payment by 18th May 2012

A1 Forms - Scout Leaders need to complete details relating to their Group.

Costs

$18.00 – for Youth members If registered before closing date 18^th May

$10.00 – Leaders, Venturers and helpers If registered before closing date 18^th May

$22.00 – for all, If registered after the closing date.

$25.00 – for all, If Registering at the Region Camp. (Including extra registration for Troop already registered)

No Refunds after Friday 1^st June 2012

Friday Night

Sausage Sizzle available on Friday night for Leaders, Scouts, Venturers and Helpers – Cost $2.50 – Please pre-order with application form.

Vistors Day Sunday

$6.00 for Joey Scouts & Cub Scouts, attending visitors day only (includes camp badge and bus transport to and from Waterfall Stn and the camp) Gold coin donation for the bus.

$0.00 for leaders and visitors on visitors day(no camp badge)

Badges can be ordered separately $3.50 each.

Sausage sizzle, cold drinks, tea & coffee will be available on Sunday for leaders, youth & visitors attending Visitors day. Please pre-order with application form.
