What is a Scout Leadership Course
As well as being part of the scout award scheme, the scout leadership course aims to provide suitable leadership skills for Scouts, utlising a practical "hands on" approach. The course is orgainsed and run on the Patrol System and provides participants with opportunities to run and participate in the decision making process.
Topics covered will include:
- Understanding the Patrol System and the Scout Award Scheme
- Leadership
- Problem Solving and Task Management
- Citizenship
- Planning and Programming

You must attend all sessions in order to successfully complete the course
