TO ALL JOEYS, CUBS, SCOUTS, VENTURERS, ROVERS, LEADERS

This year The Scout Good Turn Thanksgiving will be held in the Sundial Amphitheatre (Site 9) at Bicentennial Park on Sunday the 18^th June 2006. We will be enjoying conservation activities in the park and at the Field Studies Centre from 10am. These activities will help you pass a test in the award scheme. Don’t forget to bring your own lunch and bring your bike and get double enjoyment riding to the activities. The thanksgiving is open to EVERYONE including families and will start at 1.15 pm and is programmed for thirty minutes. For our good turn we are asking you to bring a toy to give to other children. The Salvation Army will collect on the day and distribute these for us. By law the presents have to be seen, so they should be unwrapped or in clear wrapping.

We want every one to come so that we can share our Scouting links through the Promise and the Law. It is also a great opportunity for Scouts to be recognized by the public and to share with one another in a day of fun. So put the date in your diary now, fill in the application and send direct to HQ. Cost $4 per person.
