Welcome back to Scouting for 2009. This year promises to be another full year of scouting in South Metropolitan Region leading up to the 22nd Australian Jamboree being held at Cataract in January 2010.

If you are intending to go to the Jamboree, please complete the on-line application form (refer to the Jamboree page for more details) and ensure that your application is received by the South Metropolitan Region Office by the due date of 15 March 2009. This will ensure that we can appoint troop leaders and form the jamboree troops in a timely manner.

But 2009 is not all about the jamboree, the “normal” scout program will continue in the Region with leadership courses planned for April and August, the region camp will again be held at Camp Coutts on the June long weekend and of course State Rally will be held in August.
