Joeys form groups of three with one Joey left. Two joeys form a hole and the other is the bunny. The spare Joey is the bunny. When Easter is called the bunny leave their holes and hop around the room including the spare. When bunny is called the bunnies must fmd a hole to get into.

Played like duck duck goose. Joeys form a circle and one Joey walks around the circle touching every one saying eggs bunny, eggs bunny. When bilby is called that Joey must chase the other around the circle and try and beat the other to their spot.

Joeys split into three groups and are given at least ten minutes each activity.

1. Craft Bunny baskets Malu

Made with toilet rolls. Diagram attached. You need to block of the bottom of the roll using sticky tape and also place a one or two cotton wool balls on the bottom inside the roll. Later when the joeys are preoccupied place some Easter eggs inside.

With the egg rolling it is best played outside and paper towel laid.down the length you want the j oeys to roll the egg. You may want to hard-boil the eggs if it has been a wet day in order to plav indoors.

While the story is being read the other leaders go outside and hide some Easter eggs around the grounds for the Easter Egg Hunt. Put out enough egg for the joeys to get 5 small each.
