After completing BL1 and BL2, each trainee leader participates in a sectional Basic Leadership 3 course. This includes the award scheme, the weekly programme, ceremonies, councils (e.g. Troop Council, Pack Council), section-specific material (e.g. craft, camping, service, running meetings) and age-specific material (e.g. the ten-year-old cub scout). Each BL3 also includes an introduction to the section's outdoor activity programme.

In 2005, you can choose from the following Basic Leadership 3 courses:

Consult your RC Activities for the latest information about the new "Topic 7" course.

 

Ensure you submit your application form (L1) at least 3 weeks prior to the course.

For courses at Heathcote, apply to South Metropolitan Region Office.

For courses at Mt Keira, apply to South Coast and Tablelands Region Office.

For courses at Pennant Hills, apply to Sydney North Region Office.

For courses at Glenrock, apply to Hunter and Coastal Region Office.
